Statement piece ..... Thomas Fattorini, Regent Street, Birmingham, UK, this superb signed necklace was part of a range commissioned by the Times newspaper, the ‘Times’ newspaper sponsored the Exhibition because they had financed the original dig in Egypt which led to the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. This necklace would have originally been for sale at the British Museum, London, during the Tutankhamun Exhibition which ran from March to December 1972. The pectoral necklace designed with a combination of gilt metal and enamel, dramatic faux lapis lazuli scarab center piece. On the reverse of the necklace fully marked 'Thomas Fattorini, Regent Street, Birmingham'.
